• Parque San Martín: Located at the foot of the Andes, this national park of 865 acres is famous for its indigenous horticulture and houses a zoo and national science museum. It also has facilities for a wide variety of sports such as hang-gliding. Also included is a soccer stadium built for the World Cup and a yacht club with an artificial lake.

• Acuario Municipal de Mendoza: This aquarium was the first in the country, and houses a wide variety of fish, amphibians, reptiles, snails and a collection of fossils and semiprecious rocks.

• Puente del Inca: The Inca bridge near Mendoza is on the route taken by ancient people traveling from the Andes to the sea. It is a natural formation over the Cuevas River. Iglesia de los Capuchinos in Córdoba, Argentina. Known for its wineries and the Andes, Mendoza is a favorite with business and leisure travelers who come for the wine and the recreational activities. Nowadays it is possible to visit the ancient thermal baths and to bathe in the hot and comforting waters.

• Reserva Natural Villavicencio: At 45 kilometers from the city of Mendoza you find the Villavicencio Natural Reserve. It covers 160,000 acres, and it was created to protect the biological, historical, cultural and archeological diversity within. The Villavicencio hot springs, at 1,800 meters above sea level, are famous for its healing properties.

Weekend Trips:

• The State Park of Aconcagua: A natural wonder, the Aconcagua´s peak is the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere.

• Uspallata Pass: This is one of the most spectacular trips to be made from Mendoza, to the border with Chile. 210 kilometers outside the city of Mendoza, passing through the flat, irrigated oases and climbing over 3,000 meters beyond Puente del Inca.

• Laguna del Diamante: In the south of Mendoza province lies a mirror of bluish-green waters of about 1.4 hectares reflecting a magnificent Maipu Volcano casting the perfect image that gives the place its name. Glaciers and precipitations replenish the lagoon's basin to keep it full year round.
